Who listens to the radio?
I’ve recently taken to listening to the radio again (because I’ve killed the new Graham Coxon album). Mainly, 3RRR, but also (despite the youth and unprofessionalism of it’s announcers) Syn 90.7 FM. Monday nights on Syn they do a show called Discography, hosted by these two dorks and they basically go through highlights of a bands entire discography (are you getting a feel for where the name came from?) and talk shit about it.
Last night was the first time I’d heard the show, and I probably liked it a bit more than I should’ve because the band they were playing was my beloved Who. A little bit patronising for the established fan, especially coming from a couple of upstarts [see: two dorks (above)], but nonetheless enjoyable. I started listening on the drive back from Naomi’s, but then when I got home, I put the radio on (jeez, I was a bit keen, wasn’t I?).
Alls I can say is, something funny had better happen to me soon, ‘cause these posts are getting really crap. What do you listen to on the radio?

i used to listen to Australia’s “youth network” but jeezus how many times do i have to hear BLOODY living end and some kids singing about television or whatever they’re rattling on about?!?! JEEZUS! and also that stupid bitch who does 6pm till whenever, WTF?!?! whatever she’s on they need to legalise so dick heads like her don’t frikkin take it and act like absolute wankers on the radio…… ‘youth network’ INDEED!

Another show that I listen to is The Skullcave on 3RRR on Friday nights. If I can get more than one question right in the quiz, I’m doing pretty well.

not a syn listener i’m afraid too much of the “aaaahhh yeah so we’re now .. ummm i don’t know what were going to play” kinda stuff really annoys me.
although i do concur on the skullcave…

I’m a RRR listener and subscriber.. pretty much listen to that only except if “The chick and mary show” or “The old folks show” is on, then I flick between stations getting frustrated and finally settle on whatever the hell Gold FM is called now.
