Still settling in… and IT trouble

I’ve been ‘off the grid’ lately, and it wouldn’t be fair to blame that solely on the lack of electricity/phone line/internet access. I’ve also been taking my time adjusting to the new routine. It didn’t help that my first attempt at checking my personal email at work (during my lunchbreak, I might add) was met with an error message that seemed to indicate that not only was I unable to access my webmail URL, but my attempt to access said URL had been recorded and forwarded on to the IT department. My second day on the job.

Needless to say, I’m a little apprehensive, so for the time being, I’ll keep my blogging outside business hours.

Edit: OK, I wanted to add more to this topic but couldn’t really be arsed starting a new post, so I’m tacking it onto the end of this one.

I just wanted to show you the message I got today, when I tried to visit Naomi’s blog on my lunch break.

I don’t think I’ll be checking Naomi’s blog at work any more. Those of you who so wish, can read my girlfriend’s pornographic blog by clicking here.

I would be in a world of trouble if the IT guys blocked email at my job. I think I would quit. Good luck.

Welcome to corporate IT!

As someone from an IT department… those messages that say the IT department knows what your doing, well in reality they, like I, don’t care what anyones doing. Just as long as they leave us alone.

goddamn ‘we’ve blocked this website’ messages…

hooray for naomi’s porn site!

did someone mention porn?
