Mo’ Money, Mo’ Money
As you may already know, I’ve been growing a moustache over the last month for Movember, and after a lot of heckling from my readership, the much anticipated ‘moustache post’ has finally arrived. At the beginning of the month I had every intention of taking a photo of my face every day, and putting together a little movie, so you could all witness the progress of my moustache. But November has been a very busy month for me, and the ‘mo movie’ is just one of many things that have fallen by the wayside recently. Try not to get upset about it. It’s not you — it’s me.
I can however, muster up a photograph for you all, if you promise to head swiftly over to Movember.com.au, and enter my Rego number — 5008, and sponsor this masterpiece of facial hair. It’s all going to a good cause, and parting with a few dollars is surely worth witnessing my humiliation, walking around with this dead insect on my face!
Now, where was I? Ah, yes — photographs, eh? Here you go…
It’s not great — but it’s not bad for only four weeks growth, I reckon. Oh, shut up!
Last year, Movember raised $1.2 million, and this year they’ve blown that out of the water (good for them), and you can raise that even higher (good for you). Go on. Blow the dust of the old Visa card, and get clicking.

Doctor. You need some 70s theme music playing in the background wherever you go now. It’s brilliant. You could be a movie bad guy now easily.

Update: Movember’s over — the mo is gone, and I raised $212.50 for charity. Not a huge amount, but it’s something. Thanks to everyone (one person) who clicked the link and sponsored me online. The support has been underwhelming.

Just as a footnote, Movember raised over $5.3 million in Australia, which is a huge jump from last year. Next year’s probably going to be even bigger.

I’m not sure I’ve seen this australian cricketer before…does he bat or bowl? or is he an all-rounder???
